Ocean Hunter Fisheries has been a pioneer in the Maldives’ longline tuna fishing industry, operating a fleet of up to 15 longline vessels at our peak. Our operations focused on harvesting premium-grade Yellowfin Tuna, supplying high-end markets across six major U.S. cities and leading destinations throughout Europe.
Due to a temporary suspension imposed by the government on longline fishing activities, our fleet is currently inactive. However, we remain fully prepared to resume operations at scale and continue serving our global partners with the finest Maldivian Yellowfin Tuna—as soon as regulatory conditions allow.
